Hi, I’m Bonnie!

And I run everything After 5 Furnished related. I'm a Toronto-based entrepreneur that's passionate about sustainability and furniture design. If you’re looking to furnish your home with one-of-a-kind items, you’ve come to the right place!

The pandemic brought a wave of instability and shook things up at the design firm where I worked. Around the same time, similar companies were facing major layoffs. As a new hire, I worried about job security and started a side hustle of upcycling furniture as a backup plan.

It all started after my 9-5

The Transition

What started as a back-up plan soon became my main plan. I quickly realized I was learning a lot more, had more opportunities, and most importantly was creating items that people actually treasure.

With each project, I grew hungrier, and continued to push the limits.

The Present

Skip forward to now, I’ve created countless pieces for both commercial & residential spaces.

Merging my passion for interior design and engineering is something I used to dream of. Creating high quality, sustainable pieces is the cherry on top.

The Future

Designing has always been my passion, and now I’m shifting to building pieces from scratch. The twist? I use salvaged lumber from fallen trees and repurposed furniture to create something new and sustainable.
